Mad Wolves

From Demiurge Games

Originally one of many youth gangs based purely on survival, the Mad Wolves leadership was taken over by a young man by the name of Felix Du Paix. A bloodthirsty criminal wanted on Montaigne on several murder charges, Felix was able to fast talk his way into being accepted into the gang, eventually becoming its leader and setting it up with a powerful backer in local real estate magnate Redmund Erheart (deceased) who used them as his strong arm. This worked well for the gang, although many resented the idea that a foreigner, a Montaigne at that, was in charge.

The gang grew ever more bolder at the behest of their benefactor Erheart. No longer limited to petty thievery, they began targeting citizens living on highly desirable but underdeveloped land, chasing them away so that Erheart could buy their land for a pittance or seize it outright. This tactic came to an end when they began targeting the Drachenheim Manor. At first considered a minor annoyance, Drachenhiem Heir Lei Lung became enraged when he saw the brutal tactics of the gang as a whole and decided to do something about it. Taking advantage of the leadership's disdain for the Montaigne's lack of respect and abundance of greed, Lei was able to convince the four most powerful Mad Wolves generals to turn on Felix and sever their relationship with Erheart. The gang lives on under the name of the Golden Dragons, an organization led by the four Mad Wolves generals and loyal to Lei.
