Lei Lung was born in the southern provinces of Han Hua. His parents both worked at the local inn/gambling hall, his father the moneylender while his mother worked in the kitchen and laundry. As he grew up, Lei showed himself a quick study, watching both his parents and quickly got underfoot. Finding it prudent to keep him busy, they sent him off to martial arts school.
