Regarding New Sites
Hello there. My apologies for responding so late, the last however long has been... interesting. I poked around CHYOA in the meantime, though, and while I like the fact that authors can allow the readers to customize the story to an extent, I can't help but wish that there was a non-porn centric version. Nothing wrong with the porn, it's just that, well... it's not really the genre I write, so I'm not sure how much usage I would get from the site. It's a shame, really. I'd have to either write erotica with horror/light violence elements (to stay within the CHYOA guidelines) or continue my search.
On a mostly unrelated note, I also looked into Darklands. You're off to a very good start, and I can see the story having potential. I understand what you mean when it comes to the lack of an active community hindering growth, though. Unfortunately the community of regulars I tended to stay in contact with has all but vanished, so I often find myself struggling to have the motivation to continue things I've started here, such as the previously planned rewrite for Rescue because, as anyone who has read it can realize, it reaaaaaaally needs some work. Megan and Bloodsport. are both a little closer to what I'd like Rescue to be at.
Either way, I'll keep journeying about in search of a better general CYOA story site while looking around on CHYOA to try to locate similar sites that people may be discussing there. --TheElderOnes 10:22, 15 January 2016 (UTC)

Since I am not sure what I am going to do on it, I haven't added it to anything yet. I should list it, but I hoped to get more than a couple horror paths. It is more of an experiment right now, which is why I have not put it up. Not sure what I should do with it, other than to see how to try to make it work xD Especially since, well, the horror paths are basically a You are dead, while I do plan to make additional bursts in the future so it is an actual CYOS, where there is story continuity. Meh, still thinking about how to do it though, so not sure it belongs anywhere, although I will make some "Adult" material outside the horror side. [[Dark]]->[[Mysterious]]->[[Brooding]] lol, I just like to play with different styles. It helps me grow as a writer and do more than just short "next steps", or even "short story". lol, I also have another experiment, Context, which I am trying to figure out what to do. The options are not presented at the end, instead, they are given as context text throughout each page. Another which I put as adult, but does not really have sex stuff. But, I know me, I write erotica better than other things, so I will probably have adult content eventually. lol, if you are really interested in contributing, but I warn you it is an adult story (As the title suggests), I am also working on a community driven story, The Exhibitionist. Yes, I will get to the red links, hopefully take care of one today. Basically, the story is, I want to show myself off, the reader is my master, and the reader tells me what to do. I will then do it, and tell the story. So, others add options, and I tell the story based on that option. It is a little challenging, since what I imagine is different from what my "master" wants me to do, but I try to keep it interesting. It is sort of a "First, we break the 4th wall, then we do a standard perspective story". Again, a little different that normal. I guess the closest to a "standard" CYOA I have is Dirty Me, but I haven't actually worked on that in a while. --Dirty Me 03:49, 25 March 2016 (UTC)
