Arganzh is surprisingly the oldest member of the team after Shureil (which doesn't count because she's an elf). Built as what you'd expect of a half-orc, the alchemist breaks the mold in only one aspect. He is very patient and intelligent. He learned alchemy through an old dwarven friend who had no one to teaches his noble art. Arganzh takes alchemy and all matters of the arcane with the blood lust passion his kind shows to battle. Valan relies on him on all intellectual matters and he's not afraid to joins the fray along Lauren and the dark knight should things get dicey (after a little alchemical advantage is added to his impressive half-orc stature)
