There's nothing to be gained by moping over spilled milk. The only thing you can do is continue on with your mission as a Van Helsing and slayer of monsters. You continue exploring the seedy streets of the Cairo underworld, looking for anyone or anything that may be able to help you. Suddenly, a very proper gentleman's voice calls out from behind you. "Lady Anastasia Van Helsing, I presume?"
You whirl around, your long silky dark brown hair whipping behind you, to see an impeccably dressed young officer in a British Army uniform, a revolver on his hip. Two enlisted soldiers, armed with rifles and bayonets, flank him.
"What can I do for you, Lieutenant?" you respond politely, neatly neither confirming nor denying your identity.
"Miss Van Helsing. Several witnesses stated that a lady of your description killed a man today by throwing a knife into his heart. Would you care to discuss the matter with us, please?"
Your face remains expressionless, but your mind is racing about the best way to handle this.
