When she was a little girl, Mimi was one of eight kids who witnessed a huge-ass fight between two digimon in Odaiba. Several years later, seven of those same kids were all at the same summer camp and wound up getting sucked into a place known as the Digital World. There, they learned they were the Chosen Children and each had a digimon partner. After a whole ton of walking, battling, more walking and digi-volving, the group defeated the baddies threatening to destroy both the Digital World and the real world. Then they all went back to the real world for good, and everything was happy shiny butterflies for about four years or so.
And then shit went down in the Digital World again. A new group of Chosen Children rose to the challenge, with help from the original group. Oh, and inbetween, Mimi and her parents moved to America and she dyed her hair pink with little sparkly stars.
In Purgatory
In Purgatory, Mimi owns and runs the clothing shop Digital Style. She also makes a point of pestering her fellow Destined whenever she can. She loves shopping, getting her nails and hair done, and browsing around for Digimon-based trinkets and toys. She also kinda misses her parents, as well as both the American Destined Michael, who she was kinda dating before the whole Purgatory thing, and a certain short computer-savvy destined who has yet to turn up. But she most certainly isn't crushing on him, nope.
