Stefan Background

The youngest of eleven children, Stefan is the runt of the litter. Unlike his sister Martina, he has inherited his mother's affinity for the wild-- due in no small part to the amount of time he has spent with his mother. Little Stefan is a child of Beltane, and was born in 1208, in the dead of winter. His father is Notus, a sidhe who embodies the south wind; bringer of the summer storms. Stefan mostly resembles his mother, except that his eyes are a bright sky blue, and his hair always appears wind-tossed, no matter what the circumstances. He is easily excitable, as one might expect from an air fae's son -- in fact, his words frequently tumble out of his mouth so quickly that it is difficult to follow his train of thought. Stefan is very close to his sister, though he frequently shows his affection by tormenting her. He is also close to Fearghus, who he views as something of a father figure. Stefan entertains notion of adventure and excitement, and hopes to one day "be a hero."
