Ta'ratoa is a type L brown dwarf about 0.17LY from Ta'fiti and 0.41LY away from Ta'ka. Because it is a brown dwarf, Ta'ratoa is very dim and mainly emits light in the infrared spectrum. Due to this very little is currently known about this substellar object. In spite its near distance to Ta'fiti, Ta'ratoa was only discovered less than 50 years ago and no significant studies can be conducted with current technologies. Rauians hope to send a probe to this star in the near future to further study it.
