Dryads

Dryads in the Alvarunus, as in most universes, stories, and myths, are spirits of the trees. They are all born from a Mother Tree with a tree of their own. Each Dryad has bark-like skin, characteristic of their respective tree, and hair of leafy branches to match. Their eyes match the color of their leaf-hair. For clothing, they wear mosses of varying types.

Dryads reside mainly on the Floating Isle of Avalon and are some of the most beautiful creatures to inhabit the Alvarunus. They are docile, gentle creatures that protect the forests, woods and those who come into it that may be in need of help.
