History

Cookie Island was discovered by Emperor Ultimatus Wafflus in 113 AD. He named it Little Waffle Island, because it was the smallest island in the Waffle Archipelago that he also discovered. However, the natives of nearby Blueberry Island had come to make there offerings to a great spirit that they worshipped, and captured Wafflus and his crew. Because of the strange writing on the documents that they carried, they burned them, and killed the crew. Wafflus himself managed to escape to his home base on Big Waffle Island with a portion of his maps. Nothing relating to the small island was recovered from the natives, and the knowledge of the island was lost.

Many hundreds of years later, during the User Rebellion, a huge group of Outcasts sailed south, and arrived at long last in the Waffle Archipelago. Most of them stayed in the main isles, but a small group, wanting isolation sailed further to settle Blueberry Island and Little Waffle Island at the far southernmost tip of the islands. Unfortunatly, the group arriving at Blueberry Island were confronted by the natives, and were blocked off by a storm from leaving, and soon perished.

The group arriving at Little Waffle Island were much more fortunate, arriving and setting up a community on the island. However, having realized that foreigners were invading the sacred islands they called home, their warriors sailed around the archipelago, but most of the outcasts living on the islands escaped. Legend has it that they built a massive ship, but that it was not ready to leave by the time the natives attacked, and the ensueing battle caused the ship to be cursed, and the outcasts aboard it would never again be allowed to set foot on land. However, it is far more likely that they boarded many small boats and spread out among the southern regions of the globe.

The island was not re-discovered until modern times. SnackServ, wishing to make a new life for himself, sailed south to find a home, passing up the rest of the Waffle Archipelago (In modern times, the archipelago has become inhabitated), and finally arrived on the southernmost and most desolate island of the chain: Little Waffle Island.

SnackServ Arrives

After arriving, SnackServ planned not to stay long, and find a better place to live with more open land. At first, he didn't bother to name the island, but one day, out of sheer boredom, he named it "Cookie Island". He discovered that the island was an easy place to survive in, with underground fresh water springs, trees with a variety of fruits from bananas to key limes, as well as shallow waters that kept away sharks and lush underwater vegatation in the deeper waters that provided an abundance of fish. Because of this, he decided to make it his permanant home, and built a few small structures to live in around the island.

He also accidentaly created what is now the dominant species surronding the island. By dropping a Chocolate Chip Cookie, that unbeknownst to him was contaiminated into the water to cheer up the local goldfish population, he inadvertantly created the vicious Blue Goldfish that now makes it almost impossible for him to leave the island for any reason. Despite the danger of these creatures, he continues to live on Cookie Island, but due to the difficulty of catching fish, his primary food sources are now fruit, pastry, and snackfoods.
