User City, also known as "The Dark City" is the largest city in the Mario Wiki. It is a place or much grandure, with huge, glistening glass towers. It is very far north, and near the ocean, and thus it has a climate with mild summers and harsh winters. It is inhabitated by many Users, and the city's goverment claims that no place in the world is safer from Trolls. Around most of the city is a great, steel wall, which is there to make the users living within feel safer, but mostly just causes havoc for people leaving or entering the city, partly because of stringent security checks.

However, there is a bad side to this wall, which is not heped by how much it costs to live in the city. Everyone who is poor is trapped in slums outside the city, so as to, in the words of the mayor "Protect the essence and qaulity of the lives our users live". This actually just means that users are trapped inside, and anyone who wants to come into the city faces the trouble of fighting through the suburbs.

However, the city has one glaring weakness: It's harbor. Security is much less stringent for water travel. This means that almost everyone goes in and out on the water, making water travel a nightmare, particulary at rush hour. And, it doesn't help that the city is the closest point on land of the Wiki World to the World of Mist, making it the easiset city for trolls to get too, and with the exposed harbor, all of the defences on land are rendered worthless. These flaws and the city's corrupt goverment lead to the city being nicknamed "The Dark City".

However, despite all this, millions of people live happy lives in the city, and although troll attacks are more common than other places, most people don't notice, because all of the media is tied to the goverment, and covers up as best they can troll activity.
