Description

Lucanis Marathesain, as a scion of Marathesian dur Murdran, has been given every opportunity to prove his worth over those who lack his heritage. He attended the famous war college of Tein-Larion when he was still quite young, and while there he displayed unusual but effective methods of personal combat and interpersonal relations (though he made a few fewer friends than your average student), graduating with honors near the top of his class at the age of ninety-five. He is graced with a somewhat unearthly air, even for an elf, and several of his fellow students used to whisper rumors about him, for the first year or two, after which the decided lack of unusual phenomena around him and the increasing pressure of their academic pursuits caused general interest to peter out.

Lucanis bears the snow-white skin characteristic of his father's family. Hee bears one of his father's piercing green eyes and one eye of the same deep violet hue as the eastern mountains at twilight, inherited from his quiet and graceful mother.

Abilities

Lucanis' abilities are not well known. If his mysterious mother is any indication, he has the blood to become a potent sorcerer, but if he has any magical aptitude he has so far kept it from his fellow members of the aristocracy. His ability to attend and excel at Tein-Larion demonstrates that he is a particularly intelligent elf, and he's probably being groomed to succeed Marathesian in a millenia or so.
