Teleis dar Thurva

Son of the Blademistress of Tein-Larion, Teleis dar Thurva was a master swordsman. He founded his own school at Black Mountain, eschewing the study of governance offered by Tein-Larion in favor of a pure focus on the art of combat, an aesthetic ideal he called "The Truth Found in Blood at the Diamond's Edge". While his pupils weren't the best suited for rulership of a province, they were certainly far better suited than many of Tein-Larion's graduates for duties as professional duelists or assassins (though elvish society had little work for those latter), or even as elite bodyguards for their older and more broadly-educated cousins.
Teleis is currently dead, and is presumed to have been either murdered or defeated in a duel to the death by one of his students. Thurva has offered a reward for information on her deceased son's slayer.
