She fought him with every weapon in the natural world's arsenal, but Dezzik was accustomed to battle and she was not. Dezzik's mortal followers, who had been accustomed to life in fertile grasslands, found themselves in a harsh desert where their crops crumbled to ash, the rains didn't come, the air scorched their eyes, and they began to starve. Only when the goblins began to forsake their god did she come to their aid, in her new guise as Cactus Woman. In this Aspect, she protects the world from Dezzik and those like him, and teaches the world to struggle against tyrants lest all the life be leeched from the people. | ||
