Ein Hedgington is the main character of Wary's first story trilogy that's currently being titled Betraying Myself. (The unedited Books Two and Three have been seen at ROB under the title Sea of Bodies.) He is now the villain of Jupiter's Story and RP, and may have his own narration of that time span in the future. He also appeared as a mercenary in Anecdote 3 and as a Door Character in TRTDAHaN. His element is Earth, and his personality and appearance have a tendency to change throughout time. Things that don't change are his overreaching ambition and a random chance of overpowering a magic spell.

Ein was originally a guy from Wary's Earth whose goal in life was to resist all authority. He and his friends Lynn and Seth set off a box of fireworks at their school and while running from the police found a wormhole to another world known as Wrerga. After his first battle--a cheap victory--he gained a suit of armor from his pursuers.

Emily, her mother Leila and sister Rain found him in the woods. They taught him how to use a bow and arrow effectively. Meanwhile, he was learning about his new Ancient Legend Guardian Spirit named Terra that he had unwittingly picked up before. She told him that he was destined to become one of the legendary Sils who would control Wrerga's fate. However, the family was soon ambushed by the same group that had attacked Ein before and forced to flee the area.

His assignment to find an encampment site for the group led him to a dark tree where a black knight known as Yafor was fighting against Anna. Anna quickly teleported Ein to a place where he learned arts of magic and found out that she was mistaking him for her late husband--he was faking amnesia because of the new world. During one excercise he fell in the lake and found Lynn, but nearly drowned and was saved by "The Wizard Who Did It," Ikra.

Ikra trained Ein and Lynn for combat, and eventually these two broke out of the area controlled by fishlike people called Azaids. Ikra supposedly died here. He then made his way with Lynn, now his girlfriend, to the capital of the country known as Kinok. He made his way towards the castle, but was captured. Finally, Yafor appeared and destroyed most of the building.

Ein fought Yafor and won, then out of curiosity looked to see the man's face. He found it to be his friend Seth, actually, and in a panic, tried to revive him. This really resulted in Seth becoming a zombie, which nobody really knew for a while. The two left the building and met up with the main group, and Anna found out that Ein really did know who he was and was with Lynn. She became very angry and chased him and his friends to the docks, where they boarded a pirate ship and sailed off towards the sunset...

Ein and the others killed all the pirates on the ship and took it over. Surviving from the supplies on the ship, they fought off the other ships without actually knowing how to sail. The boat floated through the seas for a long time until one day Ein saw land--Pama Continent. They met Saul Tapia, the martial arts master of Tritrite Militia, and agreed to join it for some free supplies (they were running a bit low). Saul told them that he was an interworlder like them, from the world of Syllody. He brought up the topic of a legendary island filled with power known as Lost Derriga, known on Earth as Atlantis.

Ein then went through an assessment and training session with the Tritrite Militia, but accidentally damaged the system and was badly shocked. The incident corrupted the test score data and made him lose all of his hair, but his abilities seemed unaffected by it. Lynn got him a green wig later that night, and the three rested for their first day at the Tritrite Academy.

The mixed-up values for Ein's test scores resulted in an odd combination of classes: Tactics 1, Magical Technique, Weapon Technique: Spear, and Mana Studies. His fifth class was a special one-on-one course with Saul, learning the fine details of Martial Arts. These classes greatly influenced his fighting style afterward, and in fact he afterward rarely used a weapon.

Sometime in the summer, after his 16th birthday, his schedule was modified so he could drop Mana Studies--his least favorite class--to be a guard in the Militia's prison. When he got there, he noticed a cell containing Anna, the girl from a long time ago; Eibmoz, the dark elf who had tried to rig destiny to unite the Ancient Legend Guardian Spirits and their masters; and Erik, a guy from Ein's high school who had supposedly been killed by a wild animal back on Earth.

He requested their trial be moved up, and headed their defense. Eventually, the trial became an all-out fight between him and the prosecuting attourney. Notably he spoke English during this fight rather than the language of these people. Ein destroyed the room with his magic and plunged his opponent into the circuits below, but his overpowered spell exerted him too much and he collapsed.

When he woke up, Anna was sitting by his bedside, not Lynn. Anna and Eibmoz were tricking Ein and Lynn into breaking up, and soon Anna was with Ein and Eibmoz was with Lynn. The conversation brought back a lot of Ein's old memories to his mind, which eventually brought his purpose back to uniting Kinok in peace and prosperity.

Shortly afterward, an Alchemy mistake fried Tritrite's incredibly advanced systems and forced them to mobilize toward Kinok as quickly as possible. The main character group were the first to make it across to the island again. They disembarked in the woods near where Ein had first appeared. He heard a voice calling to him and disobeyed everyone's advice by following it. He met up with the ghosts of Rain and Cecil, who had promised to wait there for him and then tell him where he had to go. They revealed to him the location of the Shrine of Earth. This began his final transformation into the Falî of Earth.

This was where Seth revealed his state as a zombie, having disguised it with the powers he'd gained from the Shrine of Darkness. A while later they found the Shrine of Water as well, in which Lynn finished her transformation. Suddenly the conversation shifted until both of the newly-formed couples broke up, all four angry at each other for different reasons.

The group finally came back to Kinok City, the site of Book One's end. And here I'm going to stop wikiing for a while because this reminiscing is getting weird somehow because there are details I forgot I had in there
