Because his initial backstory didn't work out, Gale just popped into [[The Yoshi Bodyguards|the YB]] one day and [[Pyro]] pretended to know him. This was one of Gale's most solid roles. He participated in a surprising amount of things, and served to invent various wacky inventions that served as characters, plot devices, and third things. He had a small rivalry with Sneezier, as they were both green kirbies that were inventors for no real reason.
