History

No one knows the exact origin of the Necrons. Some think they are from another entire galactic cluster, tetrations of light years away from ours. Others think that they may have come from an alternate reality altogether, and were brought through a dimensional rift. What is known by Vhozon mystics is that long long ago, before any known civilization was in its primordial stages, there was a race of creatures, known as the Necrontyr by modern tounge. The deadly rays of a nearby star constantly bombarded their planet, shortening their lifespans, slowly more and more, until they were threatened with extinction. They pushed the limits of technology and science, but to no avail. Finally, they struck a deal with the god of their stars, C'tan. For service to the god, they would obtain immortality. That, however, came at a horrible price.

The Necrontyr were turned into metal, near organic android like creatures. The Star God powered these androids with his own energy, now known as Gauss. C'tan then ordered them to build massive fleets of large Monoliths, their home bases for their attacks, Pylons, massive magic inhibiting superweapons, and Tomb Ships, massive carriers written about only in lore, and split himself into four entities; The Nightbringer, to slaughter the enemies of the Necrons, The Deceiver, to drive his enemies into insanity, The Void Dragon, to devour technology and incorporate it into the Necrons, and the Outsider, whose purpose is unknown to this day. He then gave the Necrons one mission; purge all life from the universe and allow the Star Gods to control over the universe.

Very little is known about what happened after that, until a strange rift brought a massive fleet of Necron tomb ships to this galactic cluster. They first came in contact with the Celestial Architects, who waged a fierce war against them for many millennia. Though very little is actually know about the course of the war, many races were lost in history, victims of the Necrons' attacks. In response, the Void Dragon created a new scarab swarm, one that prevented the Celestial Architects from reproducing. The Necrons kept their steady advance, eventually wiping out the Architects as any power. Thousands of years later, they finally went completely extinct.

The Vhozon, seeing their allies fall in battle, devised a plan of their own. The Necrons at a temporary weak point from their confrontation with the Celestial Architects, giving the Vhozon time to blitz them. After destroying their fleets, the Vhozon created an item known only as Soulice, which still remains a mystery as to its composition and physical appearance. All that is known is the Vhozon worked about the galaxy, using the Soulice to deactivate the Necron's power source (necessary for the Necron's existence so far away from the grasp of the Star Gods). The remaining Necrons were either wiped out or sent into stasis, deep blow the surface of different planets, undetected. The Vhozon, though victorious, were nearly wiped out in the process. They went into isolation near the edge of modern Federation space, and are rarely heard from.

Recently, though, the Necrons have begun to reawaken, sturring from their slumber from the fury of the battles by the living. Different reports of past wars now may link to Necron attacks, but the first documented assault was a force of five Monoliths on Finichia, where the Yoshi Bodyguards used the Metal Titan to destroy them. On Manshire, a Necron awakening destroyed a Federation force, but soon after, the planet was purged by a Vhozon mothership. The Slaughter of the Necroplis first started as a Vhozon attack on a Metal Army warzone, soon being repeled by Federation of Metal forces. However, a Necron awakening then wiped out both sides, and the planet was later bombarded with nuclear weapons to prevent the spread of the Necrons. Finally, the largest force appeared on Chronis, the famed battle of nine armies. The Vhozon kept the Necrons at bay with a shard of Soulice, but the shard, along with their force, was destroyed with their mothership. The SWD sent in a task force to collapse the mines they spawned from on their power source. The Necrons then were all deactiavated, leaving them as nothing more than metal corpses.

Society and Culture

They have virtually no society due to their robotic zombie-like nature. They only worship the Star Gods.
