X On Fire Reviews/Power Rangers

I'll admit, a few years ago, I was able to watch the first copuple seasons of the show. But now, looking back, it's just plain silly.
Every single episode followed the same basic pattern:
- OH NOES SOMEBODY IS ATTACKIN' DA CITY
- RIDICULOUSLY LONG TRANSFORMATION SEQUENCE
- FIGHTFIGHTFIGHT
- OH NOES THE BAD GUY IS LOSING LET'S MAKE HIM GROW
- RIDICULOUSLY LONG MEGAZORD SEQUENCE
- FIGHTFIGHTFIGHT
- HAPPY END
And of course, there are the unrealistic flip sequences, where the Power Rangers flip over the camera for no real reason, other than to show off.
The fights were all basically the same, but it makes sense. It's kind of impossible to make fights that aren't repetitive.
And now, after so many years, the show is still on. Every season, they start over with new rangers, probably on the same timeline. I haven't really seen the new seasons, but I think it's a safe bet that they all follow a similar pattern to every other episode.
I do like the fact that there's an overall plot to the series, as opposed to "EVERYBODY FIGHTS THE BAD GUYS, THE END."
I give Power Rangers two extremely long transformation sequences out of five.
...Also, the orignal theme song is pretty awesome.
GO GO POWER RANGERS.
