General
Being the wiki about Homestar Runner fanstuff, we as a community expect you to help contribute to our mass database. To start, just choose a category. Popular ones include Other Character Fanstuff, Fan Fiction, and Art, Sound, Multimedia and Comics. By all means, you don't have to make any fanstuff when creating an account. It is encouraged, though, and you can take as much time as you need to let your creativity shine.
Subpages
In a large place like this, we need an effective, easy way to organize fanstuff with multiple pages, including but not limited to email shows, multi-chaptered fan fictions and text adventures. How we do so is with subpages. How you make a subpage is simple. Instead of creating each chapter of your fan fiction as Chapter X, you should create each chapter as Fan Fiction/Chapter X, with Fan Fiction being your fan fiction's name and X being the number of the fan fiction's chapter. If you still aren't sure of what to do, ask another user and they'll be glad to create or move a page for you.
Interactives
Because of problems with interactives in the past, creating them is disallowed at this time. An interactive is a fanstuff where multiple users can contribute at one time. There's currently one interactive that's still running, so feel free to join that. There are also four more interactives which stay for archival purposes.
Award Systems
Although there's nothing we'd like more than to honor you for creating a quality fanstuff, there are currently no award systems in place. There have been two in the past, Fanstuff of the Week and Fanstuff of the Month, both of which ended undesirably. However, you can still browse the FotW and FotM winner categories to see the great things we have to offer, and don't think your hard work is going to stay unrewarded. There is still debating about how to go about award systems, and an alternative is in sight.
