Summary

The series opens with Sarge in pursuit of Yoshy.

Transcript

{Open to a deserted parking lot. A kid in a green jacket and hat. He is throwing a green ball of energy up and down. The, the view turns to a thermal view, and and shows A man with spiky brown hair in a Cloud Strife-esque costume.}

SARGE: That pesky VGW runt is no match for me!

{Sarge fires a gun at the kid. The kid dodges it by putting up a shield.}

SARGE: Dang. He knows I'm here?

YOSHY: Of course I do!

{Sarge turns around, and the boy is there.}

SARGE: Yoshy! It's time to return to your program!

{Yoshy fires a ray of green energy at the ground, using it like a spring.}

YOSHY: See ya, Human!

SARGE: Figures. He got away.

{Cut to a store. Everyone is lively, and shopping. Yoshy walks in, but then ducks when he sees Sarge.}

SARGE: He must be here somewhere...

{Sarge takes out an odd looking gun, and Yoshy Jumps up in shock.}

SARGE: Aha! {Sarge shoots the gun, and a portal opens and sucks in all the digital things near it. Yoshy then escapes}

YOSHY: Gotta run!

{Sarge follows Yoshy outside, shooting at Yoshy.}

SARGE: You can't outrun your destiny! You belong in the VGW!

YOSHY: Maybe I belong Here! If you gave me a chance I could-

{Sarge shoots his gun and almost hits Yoshy, but Yoshy dodges it and breaks the gun with the same attack he used to evacuate the lot earlier.}

SARGE: Why you little!

{Sarge pulls out a sword and begins to Clash with Yoshy. Yoshy's hands turn green and he dodges the blade constantly by grabbing it.}

SARGE: I'm sorry, Yoshy!

{Sarge hits Yoshy in the chest, and Yoshy flies to the other side of the field.}

YOSHY: Why, Sarge? Remember the old days.

SARGE: Unfortunately, but that was long ago. You need to go back!

YOSHY: But you created me. My game. Remember when you were a kid? You put me into that game and gave me birth.

SARGE: I made a game. The-

YOSHY AND SARGE: Last on Earth.

SARGE: No matter. YOU need to go back. I understand you like life here, but it's just too hazardous.

YOSHY: But they'll never find me! I'm like a human Sonic, you said that yourself!

SARGE: regardless.

{Sarge strikes Yoshy, but a bullet like the first one from earlier is fired, and a red-haired girl.}

SARGE: It's-

YOSHY: Ruby.

RUBY: That's right.

SARGE: But, how?

RUBY: It was all a lie.

SARGE: How? How, how, how?

RUBY: It doesn't matter now. Let's just send this program back.

{Suddenly, a helicopter flies above from in back of the store.}

PILOT: Ruby and Sarge, members of the Bureau, you are WANTED by the Bureau?

SARGE: Wha-

{Two men come and pick them up. Yoshy then grabs on to Sarge and holds on, as the yare brought to the helicopter.}

SARGE: I don't get it. What happened?

PILOT: You are wanted for discrimination, betrayal, and high treason.

SARGE: That's preposterious! I've done no such things!

PILOT: And agent Ruby, you are wanted for sabotage, attempting to leave without a discharge, and High treason.

RUBY: Even Better.

BUREAU MEMBER 1: Is that some kind of joke?

RUBY: No. But Here's a punchline!

{Ruby frees herself and punches the first Bureau Member.}

SARGE: How'd you get free?

RUBY: It was only their hands. How else?

SARGE: Good point. {Sarge activates his blade, which pierces the other member's hands. The blade ejects through them, and blood rushes everywhere.}

RUBY: C'mon!

{Ruby Jumps.}

PILOT: Where do you think YOU'RE going?

{The pilot is holding a gun similar to the one Sarge had only moments ago. But then, Yoshy ambushes him and throws the gun off of the plane.}

YOSHY: Happy to see me?

PILOT: You OAF!

{The pilot throws Yoshy off of the plane, but he quickly is killed by Sarge.}

SARGE: Better rescue him.

{Sarge jumps, and picks up Yoshy. The plane then explodes.}

YOSHY: Thanks, old friend.

SARGE: Don't mention it.

{The two land next to Ruby in a forest of sorts.}

RUBY: Well, we're all wanted. What should we do?

SARGE: Huddle around me. I have a plan.
