When You Abandoned Me when you abandoned me my heart broke in two the second that you left i thought our love was through and so i sat their stewing regretting what i'd done looking back through the past seeing where i had gone undone when you abandoned me you took away my smile and locked it tightly in a box to keep for just a while i begged for your return, i did i did all i could but my negotiations did no good when you abandoned me i thought it was the end i thought that on this day i would lose another friend but when you came back i understood that you a friend were true you help me understand myself when i abandon you
