Main Article: Nature Strike Dispute
On the 3rd of April 2008 the owners of Nature Strike, France, were made an offer for the club by Spain, of $2 billion. France accepted this, but later canceled it and demanded more. Spain were furious and brought the matter into court. Both countries are still disputing over who should have it and now Iceland has declared interest in Nature Strike. Finally, France were fined $1 billion for their actions, the transfer of Nature Strike to Spain was completed and Iceland withdrew their desire to capture Nature Strike. These actions all came in the wake of Typhoon's comments to the French owners.
