Clean Queen Team are the first major seed to crash out of the Worm Cup after they lost their Second Round match against The Twits 2-0 after extra time. Clean Queen Team drew the sixth seeds in the Second Round after failing to top their group. 2008 Champions Cyborgs are also out after finishing second in their group. They lost in the Second Round to some people's favourites Dinosaurus. Villains Win Worm Cup Again
Highly fancied The Villains No.1 have won the Worm Cup for the fifth time, and the first on home soil. The final was played in Berlin, against old rivals Sonic Team. When interviewed by a reporter, Vice-Captain Drachior had this to say:

For now, I will just play for Sonic Team and finish my career after a while. I will retire from International Worming when Sonic Team do very well. I wish to leave on a high."
It is expected that he will remain in worming for a few more years and then retire. He has also mentioned working as a Manager in the future. If he becomes a Manager, his team will know that they have a brilliant player on their side.
