Brandt appears to be a talented musician, strumming tunes on his guitar, writing songs and recording them with his band, Thor. His origins date to a world not unlike our own, but with infinite possibilities and wonder. His full name means “unconquerable sword”, a fitting name for a man who is the embodiment of lightening itself. He is a living, breathing human incarnation of a lightening elemental. His parents were the ever concurring Tatsuo, a fire Elemental who often took the shape of a dragon for his mortal form, and the always loving Kelda, a water Elemental.

Brandt was but an infant when the mortals began to question the motives of the Gods and Elementals, stating that they were cruel and unjust to those they served. Phoenian, one of the few encompassing Elementals, spoke out against such ideas that they Elementals and Gods were working against the mortals. A sign of good faith was decided amongst many of the Elementals and the Gods, including Tatsuo and Kelda, to send their children to the realms below and live their lives as mortals. However, while this action proved to the mortals that they were being cared for, it cut the parents off from the children throughout most of their lives. A few were able to return to their homes, a few discovered their true identities but chose to remain amongst the mortals. Brandt is one of those few. He has a good relationship with Tatsuo and Kelda, but he has made friends and a home amongst the mortals and feels that his place is with them.

As the embodiment of the lightening element, Brandt has the ability to manipulate, create and control every facet of lightening as well as some facets of other forms of electricity.
