The watering can is one of the six basic items you can buy from the town store. If Nook has one on sale, he'll charge you 500 bells for it. The watering can can be used to bring life back to dead flowers.

The upgrade of the watering can is the Golden Watering Can. This can be obtained by keeping your environment perfect for 16 days in a row.
