Species Biography
Stinkfly is a Lepidopterran from the planet Lepidopterra (a play on lepidoptera, the scientific name for butterflies and moths). Lepidopterra is a swamp planet whose numerous species live among a wide variety of giant plants. Residing in a complex of giant hives, each ruled by its own queen, Lepidopterrans are the predominant species on the planet. Life on Lepidopterra is seasonal, and every species plays a part in keeping the ecosystem healthy.
Lepidopterrans are an intelligent insectoid race that is masters of the air. With their transparent wings, ultra-sensitive antennae, and sturdy exoskeletons, Lepidopterrans travel far and wide to collect pollen for harvest. Depending on the plant, Lepidopterrans are capable of manufacturing a wide array of goos and gasses in their pollen ducts, ranging from an immobilizing jelly to a potent stinging spray. Lepidopterrans are having amazing speed and agility in the air thanks to the thin, rapidly flapping wings that they possess. While designed mainly for grappling, the hard spikes on their forearms can also be used as weapons in battle. Like most earth insects, Lepidopterrans are extremely vulnerable to any kind of chemical poison or gas. Although their exoskeleton bodies are fairly strong, their wings are extremely fragile and easy to damage. They must remain in constant motion to avoid being stuck on the ground permanently.

With its advanced and highly specialized ecosystem, Lepidopterra is a generally peaceful swamp planet whose numerous species live among a fantastic variety of giant plants. Residing in a complex of giant hives each ruled by its own queen, Lepidopterrans are the predominant inhabitants of their planet. Life on this planet is seasonal, and every species does its part to make sure the flora continues to produce its fruit so that all can live together in harmony as they have for countless eons.
Biography
The insectoid alien Stinkfly is an expert flyer, and he is able to pull off amazing acrobatic moves in the air. He can also take care of himself in a fight, using his pincers and the end of his tail as weapons. He also has the ability to shoot slime from both his four eyestalks and his mouth. He also can carry many times his weight. Much like our insects here on Earth, Stinkfly has a very tough exoskeleton, but his wings are very thin and fragile enough to disable most of his abilities.

Future Alien Description
Future Stinkfly’s body has become more slender, slime, and streamlined, allowing him to fly faster. His eyes have also become larger and more bug-like, allowing him to notice changes more quickly and to react. His wings have also become larger allowing him to fly faster. His stinger tail is also extremely large able to deliver a more powerful attack.
