The aquatic alien Ripjaws is a Pisccis Volann of the water planet Pisccis (a play on "pisces", Latin for fish). Pisccis is one giant ocean, home to thousands of exotic species. While most Pisccians live in schools because of the safety in numbers, there are few feelings of family or friendship between them. The creatures of this world get all the more dangerous as the depth increases.
Volanns are not the biggest fish in the Pisccian Sea, but are definitely the most dangerous. Part alligator, part eel, and part leech, few can match the Volanns underwater. With their powerful tails and slimy scales, Volanns are capable of incredible speed and agility in the water. Volanns have huge mouths filled with rows of razor-sharp teeth that can chomp through almost anything, and their lower jaw unhinges to allow them to swallow objects in a single bite. Alternatively, Volanns can use their claw-tipped fins to rip their enemies to shreds. Volanns can also withstand a remarkable amount of pressure, and their luminescent danglers allow them to see in the darkest of depths. Planet Biography
The water world of Piscciss is one of extreme danger. Thousands of exotic species live in a vast anarchic ocean of eat or be eaten. While most Pisccians live in schools because of the safety in numbers, there is still little feeling among these cold-blooded kinfolk. A world of strong currents and highly stratified environments, the deeper one dives on Piscciss, the darker and more dangerous it becomes.
Biography
From the planet of Pisccis, the Aratarann Ripjaws is an extraordinary swimmer. Like most other aquatic creatures, he can breathe underwater. He has a very large tail with fins that allow him to swim at incredible speeds. He has sharp claws, and his large, powerful jaws can be used to deliver a painful bite. Ripjaws can also travel on land, though only for a short time, otherwise he'll dehydrate. Ripjaws may be powerful, but he is the least used due to his specialized nature. He may not be as powerful on land, but he gives Ben the ability to combat in times where he must be in a water environment.
Omnitrix Version Modifications
Within his tail he has a set of legs, which allow him to walk on dry land. Although he still has the need to remain moist. He can survive for a few minutes.
