One thing that Greco does well is brainwashing. They do this by opening shop in a central location where there is little to no existing pizza places. Because 85% of what they sell is greasy cardboard, they can sell their "food" at very low prices. Greco then becomes the central pizza place. | One thing that Greco does well is brainwashing. 310-3030
Since 1995, Greco has marketed itself using the telephone number 310-30-30. From 1995 to the early 2000s, this number was pronounced in an official jingle as "three one oh, three oh, three oh". In the early 2000s, this was changed to say "three ten, thirty thirty". However, this feature probably doesn't work in China. They refer to this number as "The Pizza Number."
Brainwashing
One thing that Greco does well is brainwashing. They do this by opening shop in a central location where there is little to no existing pizza places. Because 85% of what they sell is greasy cardboard, they can sell their "food" at very low prices. Greco then becomes the central pizza place.
In the event another pizza place moves in to the same town, they will be out of luck. The residents are already too brainwahsed. The new pizza place just moves in so they have to pay a few bills to open. No worry. The sell the food at a slightly higher price. In the unlikely event that the brainwahsed people actually go to the new place they will be shocked at the prices because they are selling food and not cardboard. Few people visit and the pizza place is not making a profit and is farther behind in bills. Their only option is is close and sell the building.
Attempted Improved Taste
Lately, Greco has been trying to improve the taste of their food. Here are some examples.
Pizza
In 2008, Greco introduced "stuffed crust pizza." It is pizza with cheese in the crust. However, the cheese they use is 75% cardboard so it does not add any new taste to the pizza. This idea was stolen unsuccessfully from other pizza places.
Garlic Fingers
In an attempt to add flavor to their garlic fingers to those who do not like donair sauce, Greco introduced bacon bits. Pieces of real ham on top of the garlic fingers that actually add taste. However, this is likely expensive and will probably be replaced with synthetic rubber bacon bits.
Dipping Sauce
Dipping sauce is available for garlic fingers, chicken wings, and pizza.
