The Great Existence

Nothing is known at all about the Great Existence, only that it Existed. Events this far back in history are impossible to discover. There are a few, rather weak theories of what might have occurred during this time, and some may guess randomly at how long this era lasted, but there is no way to ever tell.

The era of Dawn

Here, the known universe was created. The majority of Master Worlds exist in the same galaxy. A very old, dying system containing a Red SuperGiant and a Blue SuperGiant (whose names I have not decided upon), passed through a GMC (Giant Molecular Cloud). The Supergiants begin a s-process, or slow neutron capture process, forming dense, heavy elements near the end of the stars’ life. The thick winds from the red collide with the rapid, thin winds from the blue, forming substantial ‘walls’ and ‘curtains’ between the systems. Both stars were near death, and exploded almost at the same time, one on each side of the GMC.

The supernovae trigger the formation of BOK modules in the GMC, forming thousands of baby stars inside cocoons of gas.

Worlds form around the stars, creating the systems and skies known to Nemians today. All is incased inside the expanding remnants of the visually astounding supernovae, staining the night skies extraordinary colors.

The era of Truth

The rise and mysterious fall of the unknown intelligent race(s) occurred here. This is where the race(s) connected worlds and build cities. It is known, however, that these beings used interplanetary travel via space, in addition to the world jumping ports they created.

The bountiful relics and artifacts are found commonly wherever there are connected worlds. The ancient race’s influence at one point touched every single known world (known today). These race(s) are deeply rooted in Lore as well, seen as the gods that preceded our own kind, preparing the arrival of the Masters.

It is still a mystery today, and people wonder why such a murky era was donned ‘Truth’.

The era of Dust

Nothing of importance happened. This is the time between when the AncientRace left, and when the Masters arrived. Just a lot of rusting artifacts for hundreds of years.

The era of Ash

Masters arrived. Civilization as it is currently known in my universe is formed. This era lasted a long, looong time, because all major changes in technology and culture are not nearly as profound as what happened at the beginning of the era of Fire (The discovery of OtherPlanes). Thus, the major ages within the era of Ash are not separated here, because of how much the era of Fire contrasted with them.

The era of Fire

(OtherCreatures know this as the era of Fulfillment)

OtherPlanes are discovered by Masters. They begin to use the powers, creatures, and aspects of physics found and known only in OtherPlanes. Incredible decades of technology, culture, and government power-seeking follows. The people use the powers of the OtherPlane in accordance to the natural laws of the universe. The tracers, hubs, and gates are discovered.

With the discovery of new worlds, the governments begin to get greedy, fighting at all costs to gain the most new land. Worlds are only connected to other inhabitable worlds, by the AncientRace long ago. Immigrants move into these new outlands in waves. Nemia, the strongest government of the time, gets lucky, because several gates happen to be in Nemian territory. New country territory lines are drawn according to tracer and hub/rift value.

Despite greed and corruption, the Masters continue to show respect to the Universal laws of nature.

The era of Unrest

(OtherCreatures know this as the era of Retribution)

The laws are broken by the Masters. The universal balance is slowly upset. Masters do not return the OtherCreatures after their service, but keep them as slaves. (OtherCreatures are sure not happy about that). Corruption sets into Nemia’s neighboring governments. Masters seek to enter OtherPlanes which is an sacred, ancient no-no. Things are just starting to get bad.
