Eastern Region

Eastern Region is clearly the dominating force of regions on the East Coast, divided into two councils encompassing each of its respective states, North Carolina Council (NCC) and Virginia Council (VAC). The region is currently comprimised of 21 chapters - 8 AZA, 9 BBG, and 3 BBYO. The regional director is Ellen Goldstein (aka "Mama E") and her regional office is located in Charlotte, NC. Eastern kids are known for being awesome and tend to compete with Northern Region East for the highest attendance at summer programs of any region in the International Order - often claiming such title. The regional mascot is Kermit the Frog, and the regional colors are red, yellow, and green.
