Poaching of wikis by Angela Beesley of Wikia
It seems that Angela, the founder of Wikia (another wiki farm similar to editthis.info) has been scraping editthis.info wikis and posting them on their service Wikia. She will then send the admins of the wiki a new link to the Wikia hosted wiki asking them to switch over, of course giving them the option to delete their wiki there.
If you receive one of these messages, feel free to let me know. I am not sure what action I can take, but it would be helpful to know the extent to which she has gone in this tactic.
Creating a wiki is back online
You can create wikis again on editthis.info. Best of all there is no countdown timer anymore. It happens in less then a second after you post the form!
No Follow Links Are On
After discovering quite a bit of link spam, I have turned on the nofollow feature to prevent any gain in link spamming wikis.
New bug tracking system
Editthis.info now uses FogBugz to track bugs. You can access it through the EditThis.info toolbox on the left side of your wiki (you might need to clear the page cache to see it).
Control Panel + Image logo Editing is up
The control panel is up. In it you can now set the logo in the upper left corner of the wiki. You can also add in your own google adsense codes to make money on your wiki.
To go to the control panel, click on the link in the toolbox in the left rail.
