Zombies are... you know what zombies are.

Most, if not all, of the races extant in the world can be made into a zombie by yogamantic magic. Yogamantic zombies are quite unlike the traditional brain-devouring zombies which can be made with pure Necromancy. They retain their original personalities and intelligence, and are essentially the same being as they were before death, with a few notable differences. The symptoms of zombihood include: a marked loss of appetite, inability to feel pain (though you are "aware" of the damage to your body, it just doesn't HURT), loss of breath, and the ability to regenerate your lost appendages by applying a powerful dose of Yogamancy.
