Titus Jonathan Jackson is the former Representative for Virginia's 4th District. He currently serves as the Majority Leader of the Appalachia Regional Legislature.

Early Life
Titus Jonathan Jackson (known as "Jon") was born on February 11, 1990, to two high school teachers in Franklin, Virginia. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Franklin, near the top of the class of 2008.
Education and Professional Career
He went on to attend the College of William and Mary, majoring in History and Public Policy. He graduated magna cum laude in 2012.
From there, Jackson went on to attend the University of Virginia School of Law in Charlottesville. While there he was active on both the Law Review and the Moot Court Board, participating in several nationally recognized moot court competitions. After graduating from law school, Jackson began work as an associate with a small but prestigious firm in Chesapeake. His practice focused mostly on business litigation in the Virginia state courts.
Political Career
In June 2017, the Representative from Virginia's 4th District announced that he would not seek reelection in 2018. Seeing an opportunity, Jackson decided to run for the soon to be vacant seat. Inexplicably, no other Republicans filed the required paperwork within the time limit to be included on the primary ballot. In the general election, the Republican-leaning 4th District elected Jackson by a comfortable margin over his Democratic opponent.
Congressman Jackson was appointed Chairman of the House Standing Committee on Appropriations and Government Regulations in 2023. He served in that position until 2025.
In 2025, the Assemblyman representing Jackson's district in the Appalachia Regional Legislature retired unexpectedly, leaving open both his seat and the Majority Leader position. Jackson resigned his position in the House and was appointed to the vacant Appalachia Legislature seat by Governor Peter Vandenberg. He currently serves as the Appalachia Majority Leader.
Personal Life
In 2022 during a very private, unannounced ceremony, Jackson married long-time girlfriend Samantha Walker, a Research Fellow at the Cato Institute. They reside in Smithfield, Virginia and maintain a residence in Columbus, Ohio, for use during sessions of the Appalachia Legislature.
