Governors
A governor is the executive leader of one of nine superregions representing two regional devisions of the United States.
Current majority
After the 2024 elections, the current division of the regional governorships according to party affiliation are as follows.

The Republican Party currently holds the majority of gubernatorial seats controlling the governorships of Appalachia, Big Sky Country, Dixie, The Mid-Atlantic and Sunbelt regions. The Democratic Party holds the minority holding seats in the Heartland, Mississippi Valley, Northeast and West Coast supperregions.
