Personal Life
Family Background
Vivien Marie Douglas Barnes Dunning was born on May 5th 1984 in Auburn, New York as only daughter to Jack and Margaret Douglas. Her father Jack Douglas was a small town police officer while her mother Margaret worked as a kindergarden teacher. They were both immigrants from Wales. The Douglas family was rather poor, barely getting by. Jack Douglas worked many long night shifts to one day enable his daughter to attend a university. Margaret Douglas was a passionate kindergarden teacher who was grateful to have found a job in the new world. Vivien Douglas' parents migrated to the United States in 1971. Her father Jack had worked in a mine back in Wales and attended police academy where he graduated among the best of his year.
Scholastic Career
Vivien Douglas attended Auburn High School in her hometown Auburn, New York. She was later described as an introverted young woman who greatly enjoyed sports, especially basketball and as extremely intelligent and ambitious. In her Junior year in high school Vivien participated in the Miss Auburn pageant which she easily won, displaying for the first time her impeccable people and speaking skills. She also won the pageant for Cayuga County, New York but decided not to participate for the Miss New York pageant as she was about to graduate from high school.
After graduation from high school with a GPA of 3.8 out of 4, Vivien enrolled at New York University where she completed her studies of Business & Political Economy in 2006.
Business Career and later personal development
It was in this same year that young Vivien, fresh out of college met Andrew Barnes. Andrew, 40 years older than Vivien and a successful stockbroker. They married in 2007 and Vivien moved to Manhatten with her new husband. Only one years later Vivien filed for divorce, taking half of Andrew's fortune and his business. She quickly proofed to be a highly successful manager, expanding her now vast fortune and empire quickly.
Two years after her divorce Vivien married Martin Dunning, again much older. Martin who was a retired oil tycoon died in 2012 leaving all of his wealth to his wife while his five children inherited nothing.
Vivien continued expanding her (or rather her first husband's former) business and now belongs to the richest women on the East Coast. She resides in one of New York City's most exclusive residential areas.
Political Career
In 2024 she decided to actively join politics and ran for Congress. She was elected handily (some speculate due to her immense wealth and her threatening attitude towards men). She is known to be a free-market Democrat and a strong supporter of women's rights.
After Abby Morey's announcement that she would seek the presidency of the United States of America Vivien enthusiastically endorsed the Great Lakes Senator and founded the "New York for Brocklin" committee.
