Senate Career
2006 Senate Election
Monroe was elected to the Senate in 2006. This co-incided with the start of USG's 6th reset and was in effect an appointment to a Senate seat at the start of 2009 with a 4 year term before having to face re-election.
Senate Term
Monroe defected to the National Equality Party in 2009, though continuing to caucus with the Democratic Party along with her fellow NEP Senator Evangeline Heaton.
