Hillary Elizabeth Brocklin is the current Majority Leader for the Appalachia Legislature. She's the former Representative for Virginia's 3rd District. Her sister, Abby Brocklin, is the current Representative for Illinois' 3rd District.

Early Life
Hillary Brocklin was born to Andrew & Elizabeth Brocklin, on July 21st 1982 (Washington, DC). Her family soon moved to live on Cleveland (Ohio) when Hillary was 3 years old. They left Columbus for Richmond (Virginia) in 1993.
As a Student & Career
Brocklin was a good student since Middle School. In 2000 she moved back to DC to study Law at the American University. She graduated in 2005.
In 2007 she was offered a post at the Prosecutor Office at Richmond. After great success, she challenged Dick Wright in 2014 for Richmond District Attorney, losing by a close gap. Since then, the two of them became good friends.
Political Career
Brocklin became interest in politics since her unsuccesful '14 run, and ran in 2016 for Democrat Robert Scott's incumbent seat as Representative for the 3rd district of Virginia. She won with the help of Attorney Wright.
She's currently a member of the SHEE (Science, Health, Education, Enviroment) & BELI (Budget, Economy, Labour, Infrastructure) Commitees, and been appointed to the FRAS (Foreign Relations and Armed Services) Commitee to replace retired Rep. Reynolds, but was then replaced to make his appointment to the BELI Commitee permanent.
In 2018, Brocklin did not seek re-election for her seat and instead entered the Appalachia Legislature. She was then named Majority Leader, temporally replacing Kaleigh Abercrombe.
