Biographical

Victoria von Doom was born Victoria Wilkins in Los Angeles, California. While Victoria tends to not comment much on her early life, a few details are known to the public. She attended a Catholic High School, her mother died when she was 17 under mysterious circumstances, and she went, like many young people, through an occultist / mystic phase in college – though this last is confirmed and dismissed as “wild speculation? by detractors. Her brother Richard, however, did once crack in public that "We've always thought there were gypsies somewhere in the family tree, which probably explains Victoria."

Her time in college onward is more well known. She attended UCLA from 1992 to 1996, working on a double-major in Chemistry and Biology; she would later attend Hopkins and enroll in the joint PhD/MD program. During her time at UCLA, she made money on the side by doing vocals in a band with friends, though she’s since fallen out of practice.

In 1994, she married Johannes von Doom, an Estonian taking classes in America; he would later enter the family business, von Doom Inudustries, where he quite quickly became became the North American director for the company. Their married is known to have been difficult and long distance during her time at Hopkins, but one that survived.

Her colleages from graduate school remember Victoria as a woman driven by ambition and the thrill of solving problems. One of them went so far as to joke that “Victoria would have divorced Johannes if not for the problems they had – it would have been too easy otherwise.? Still, she was known to always be loyal to her friends and keep her work. Most notably was an intense rivalry that developed between her and another student, Susan Richards, early on. Nobody is quite sure why, but a lot of people suspect that it’s because Richards, in an early lab experiment, pointed out several flaws in her calculations – and was right about them being off, when the experiment failed.

After getting her degrees, she returned to Seattle and von Doom Industries with her husband, where she quicklky took up a position as a research associate. This lead to her meeting her best friend, Rachel, while at meeting with various professors from U. Washington. More importantly, however, her research focused on the etiology and treatment of infectious diseases, included MRSA.

Political Career

Victoria von Doom began her political career in 2010 when she look a leave of absence from her position as a research associate, and announced her intention to run for Governor of the Northwest Superregion, although she lost the Primary Election by less than 1%.
