Presidency of Jack Magruder

From Usgovsimulation

The Presidency of Jack Magruder, also known as the Magruder Administration, began on his inauguration on October 16, 2009 as the 45th President of the United States of America following the death of Barack Obama. With the office of Vice President vacant due to the resignation of Joe Biden 3 days earlier on October 13, Magruder's position as Speaker of the House made him next in line for the Presidency. A moderate Republican, Magruder left his party and appointed mainstream Democrat Jonathan Hayes to be his Vice President as well as appointing members of both parties to key cabinet positions. Magruder choose not to run for re-election.
