Jack Magruder (born November 15, 1960) is the 45th President of the United States, and the first to ascend to the Presidency from the position of Speaker of the House. He succeeded Barack Obama in 2009 after his death in the crash of an Amtrak train.
In 2010, he nominated mainstream Democrat Jonathan Hayes to be his Vice President. This decision turned to be controversial as it gave Democrats the majority when the Senate was tied in 2011.
