Asteroid Mining

Asteroid mining is a way in which you can collect trade items or uridium for free.It takes quite a long time but yields 100% profits.To start asteroid mining you must first purchase an asteroid mining kit.Once you've purchased the kit you then need to find an asteroid to mine.In the following image you can see the asteroid belt overlapping Gyruss's orbit on the system map: File:Asteroidbelt.jpg When you've located an asteroid approach it slowly until the Mining kit Activation Dialog box pops up(sometimes it helps to open your inventory on approach)It will look like this : File:Asteroidmining1.jpg Come to a stop and hit the activate button,and you will start mining the asteroid.On each pass of the progress bar 1 ton of either water,minerals,metals,or uridium will be added to your inventory:File:Asteroidmining2.jpg

Make sure that you are within stardrive range of a station that you can sell the resources you are mining before you start!!
