• In Land’s End Scotland, a boat headed from Muir Island is boarded by a group of men searching for a runaway mutant. All members of the crew are shown to be dead except for one man, it is revealed that the boy possesses him. He jumps to the body of one of the boarders, kills the rest and leaps from the boat to shore. He is identified to be the son of Doctor MacTaggert.

• Two days earlier in London, the X-Men are present for Xavier’s book tour. As per the orders of Xavier, they are attempting to help the community and generate good press for mutants. Wolverine, Iceman, and Colossus perform a drug bust in Soho, Beast and Cyclops stop a group of muggers in Leicester Square, and Jean Grey and Storm take down a terrorist cell in Tottenham.

• Colossus leaves the X-Men and returns to Russia due to feeling ignored and disagreeing with Xavier’s agenda.

• Xavier is contacted by Moira MacTaggert. She informs him that their son, David, has escaped, and she has been placed under house arrest by Agents Betsy Braddock and Dai Thomas of the British Division of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Notes:

- David MacTaggert is identified to be 19 years old.

- In an interview, Xavier is asked about a second school for socially unacceptable mutants that he runs off of the coast of Europe. Xavier denies these rumors, however the school is revealed to be Muir Island in Ultimate X-Men 17.
