Ultimate X-Men #28 (Mark Millar, David Finch)

• Wolverine, Storm, Colossus, and Iceman stop a cell of the Brotherhood in public view in Chicago.

• Beast, Shadowcat, and Jean Grey are holed up a private residence in Stamford, Connecticut using Jean’s powers to make the human family that resides there unaware of their presence. They are awaiting the return of the rest of the team. Jean asks Kitty if she believes that Wolverine let Scott die.

• Xavier has been transferred to camp X-Factor in Cuba. (a detention unit built to house and contain suspects in the war on genetic terrorism) During an interrogation by Nick Fury, Nightcrawler is revealed to have been captured by S.H.I.E.L.D. Fury insures Xavier that he will do everything he can to protect the X-Men if Xavier can provide Magneto’s location.

• Magneto

• Magneto contacts the X-Men holographically and offers them the chance to join the Brotherhood at the Citadel. He gives them a seven day ultimatum.

Notes:

- Nick Fury states that Magneto has killed over 3,000 people since his return.

- Colossus almost tells Wolverine his feelings for him, but is silenced by Wolverine.
