Cover to Ultimate X-Men 12.

• Sabretooth and Wolverine fight in the Netherlands. The fight ends with the 2 of them toppling off a 300 foot cliff, Wolverine emerges victorius after regaining consciousness first.

• The X-Men and Brotherhood of Mutants attack the members of the Weapon X facility.

• Colonel Wraith empties fire 3 bullets into the chest of Xavier. Beast and Dr. Cornelius work together to save Xavier’s life.

• Jean Grey prevents Colossus from collapsing the structure and killing the Weapon X employees.

• Storm attempts to kill Colonel Wraith in retaliation ofr experimenting on Beast. Wraith is saved by Nightcrawler, only to be immediately executed by Nick Fury who arrives with a full S.H.I.E.L.D. team.

• Professor X reveals to Jean Grey that Magneto is not dead.


Notes:

- Sabretooth notes that Wolverine can be killed by drowning. The validity of this statement remains untested.

- Wolverine reveals that Nick Fury helped him escape from Weapon X 2 years ago.

- Nightcrawler returns home to Bavaria after the Weapon X escape. Roue and Juggernaut join the Brotherhood of Mutants.
