- The Balinese are traditionally suspicious of the sea, yet they have overcome their fear to master the new sport of surfing. Some of the best surfing waves in the world break off the coast of Bali, their homeland.
- 10.35 Band Waggon
- Arthur Askey, Richard Murdoch, Pat Kirkwood. Dreaming of success in show business, Arthur and his pal Stinker are asked by their friend at the BBC, Claude Pilkington, to stand by for an audition. So they instal themselves in a flat on the roof of Broadcasting House. Months later, when they are still there, they are evicted (not in colour).

- Yehudi Menuhin, "The Age of the Composer Part 1". The great composers Vivaldi, Bach, Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven and Schubert established music as an accessible and popular art in Western society. Their finest works still stand today as classics and continue to dominate modern concerts.

- Bernard Manning - First of four programmes in which famous personalities recall their favourite film clips and talk about their lives. Film critic and broadcaster Tony Bilbow is host this week to comedian Bernard Manning, star of Sunday's "Under Manning." Manning, a considerable film buff, tells of his own taste in entertainment.

- "The Assassin" - Adventures with hotel detective Arnie Sutter and his son, Max.

- The family quiz, hosted by Johnny Beattie, where all the answers are right before your eyes. You just have to find them. Each week, four contestants play two big board games and one letter game to find a Now You See It winner. The winner receives a cash prizer, and each contestant gets an engraved crystal decanter with four matching glasses.

- by Richard Cooper, with Ferdy Mayne, Michael Williams, Robert Urquhart, Vladek Sheybal. When Jane tells Vladek Gora she will show him where the treasure is hidden, Stefan and Sinckla are imprisoned by Gora's manservant.

- The Harlem Globetrotters, "Boomer and the Bucketeers". Adventures with the incredible shaggy dog, Boomer. Today he helps a young ex-baseball star who is confined to a wheelchair after a car accident.
