Jane, Rod and Roger sing "Swimming" and the story is "Bothersome Bertie" by Jennifer Barford, illustrated by Bridget Appleby.

- "and Children". A new six-part series featuring folk group "The Spinners" who choose a different subject and location in each programme and sing songs to match their theme. Today they are with the children of Stanwix Primary School in Carlisle. Together they sing old favourites and the group teach the children some new songs before taking them on a trip to Blackpool Zoo.
