- David Seth-Smith with a few animals and their keepers, from the London Zoo. David Seth-Smith is the Curator of Mammals and Birds at the London Zoological Gardens. He buys specimens, discusses questions of food with the Superintendent, and has various activities at Whipsnade. His first broadcast was in 1932, when he gave three talks on animals in captivity. Nearly three years ago he became the Zoo Man of the London Children's Hour, and he has been a regular contributor to the Radio Times Children's Page ever since it began
