- Only edit text with what you believe is factual information. If you are adding knowledge gained from an outside source, quote the source as a reference.
- This wiki is intended as a source of reference information on the Tribewanted project. It is not intended for marketing or promotion -- that is done on the main tribewanted.com web site.
- This is not a blog -- you can do that on your tribal home page.
- No bitching. Have something controversial to say, or just complain about? Don't do it here -- try the discussion forum instead.
- Keep in mind the scale of this project. There may be other islands or projects in the future. Instead of writing "on the island", you should write "on Vorovoro."
- Topics must be kept relevant to the Tribewanted project, or they will be deleted. If you create a topic called "bamboo", then it should talk about how bamboo is used on Vorovoro, for example. If you want to know information about bamboo in general, you'll find it in www.wikipedia.org.
- Since this is a Wiki -- not a discussion group -- feel free to add your own topics, or edit exiting topics, as you see fit. You don't have to ask anyone first. Keeping in mind the rules above, you should make sure your information is factual and not based on opinion. If you make a change that is wrong, don't worry, someone else will come along and undo your edit or fix the error.
- Don't put your or anyone else's email address on the Wiki. Internet spambots are constantly scanning and will find them.
- Keep it simple, please. While Wikis are capable of displaying fancy HTML and other complexities, this can be an obstacle to tribe members that may not be so technically inclined. Please keep the pages text oriented, and use simple formatting.
- Some information on the Tribewanted forum or your tribal home page may be "tribe confidential" and marked as such. That information should not be copied to this public Wiki.
