The Crossbow is a very effective weapon when Lara is faced with one or several enemies that are hard to take down. As most people know, the crossbow fires darts at their targets with high speed. This weapon comes with three types of ammunition. Normal darts, poison darts and explosive darts. The last type is the most effective as it can destroy a fairly large group of enemies in an instant. The Skeletons that appear in the levels in Alexandria in Tomb Raider 4 provides a good opportunity to use the crossbow. The crossbow can also be equipped with a laser sight to aim at targets that are either small or far away.
