There is no one country that can claim English as solely their language. English has become the lingua franca of the business world as well as the educational one. Knowing English can mean a great deal of things to individuals around the world from power to prestige and even in some cases simple survival.

We will create an example of a student project that shows the various different reasons to learn English as well as how English is used throughout the world currently. This project will take the form of a webpage that students design with links to pertinent information as well as pages dedicated to; the history of English, current speakers (numbers in different areas like business, education, natively speaking it using Inspiration), reasons to learn English, and English’s future.
